Road project 0006684: PEACHTREE RD FM SHADOWLAWN AVE TO MAPLE DR;INC MAPLE DR-LCI
Under Construction · Median Work · Cities: Atlanta · Funding: NEPA · This project consists of corridor and intersection improvements on SR 141/Peachtree Road from Shadowlawn Road (mp 0.37) to Maple Drive (mp 0.50). The project is along SR 141/Peachtree Road in the Buckhead Community Improvement District and extends a total length of 0.13 miles. The speed design for this project is 35 mph and the typical sections are as follows: The project consists of a typical section with three lanes in each direction consisting of 10-ft inside and outside lanes and an 11-ft center lane divided by a 19-ft raised landscape median (including turn lanes).except between Stratford Road to Lenox Drive, which consists of three 11-ft lanes in each direction. The project also proposes 5-ft bike lanes, header curb and a 14 to 17-ft shoulder comprised of a 6-ft landscape strip and 8 to 11-ft wide sidewalks on both sides of the roadway.
