Road project 0013194: SR 9/US 19 @ CS 351/GLENRIDGE DRIVE

Under Construction · Realignment · Cities: Sandy Springs · Funding: NEPA · The purpose of the project is to realign Glenridge Dr. so that it will line up with a nearby condominium complex’s driveway. This will change the intersections from two closely spaced 3-legged intersection into one four legged intersection. This will provide a more appropriate intersection angle as well as adequate left turn lanes in both the northbound and southbound directions. By implementing these countermeasures it is our intention to reduce the number of serious crashes at the intersection of SR 9 and Glenridge Dr.
