Road project 0013895: SR 316 FROM E OF CR 186/CEDARS RD TO E OF CR 5661/FENCE RD
Under Construction · Ramp · Cities: Not City · Funding: GEPA · This 1.68-mi project includes construction on SR 316 east of Cedars Rd to approx 0.1 mi west of Fence Rd & will convert SR 316 to a limited access arterial w/ a new partial diamond/clover interchange at Hurricane Trail & the private commercial access road. SR 316 will remain at its current grade & requires two new bridges (SR 316 EB & WB) over CSX RR to connect w/ PI 0013897. Two 12’-lanes in each direction with 14’ outside (12’ paved) & 12’ inside (10’ paved) shoulders will be constructed to the outside of existing SR 316. The existing SR 316 roadbed & bridges over CSX will be removed after construction to create a median. Hurricane Trail will be bridged over SR 316 & widened to one 12’ lane in each direction with a 14’ flush center two way turn lane & sidewalk.
