Road project 0014081: SR 92 @ SR 14 ALT - CFI
Construction Work Program · Intersection Improvement · Cities: South Fulton, Union City · Funding: NEPA · This is an intersection improvement project of the intersection of SR 92/Campbellton-Fairburn Rd & SR 14 Alternate/South Fulton Parkway. The intersection preferred alternative is a Displaced Left Turn otherwise known as a “Continuous Flow Intersection.” The project will begin and tie-in to PI 0017398 (Roundabout at SR 92/Campbellton-Fairburn Rd & Jones Rd) approximately 1000 ft south of the intersection of SR 92 & Jones Rd, and end approximately 1550 ft south of the intersection of SR 92 and SR 14 Alt/South Fulton Parkway where the project will tie back into the existing 5-lane section. A varying raised median of 4-ft to 33-ft will be added along SR 92 from Thompson Road to McClure Road. The sideroads impacted by this project are Hall Road and Thompson Road, both with design speeds of 35 mph. Both sideroads intersect with SR 92 at signalized intersections.
