Construction Work Program · Bridges · Cities: Atlanta · Funding: NEPA · Bridge Replacement Project - This project is a proposed bridge replacement on an offset alignment to the east, spanning over two existing CSX Transportation tracks, one proposed CSX Transportation track, and two existing MARTA tracks. The project will begin approximate 550 feet south of the existing bridge and extend approximately 500 feet north of the existing bridge. This project is located within the city of Atlanta. The project will include two traffic lanes, with a sidewalk on the west side and a shared-use path on the east side. The total project length is approximately 1300 feet or 0.3 miles, with 261.5 feet of proposed bridge, with a proposed speed of 35 MPH. Traffic will be maintained on existing bridge until proposed bridge is constructed.
