Road project 0015642: CR 614/OAKLEY ROAD @ BROADANAX CREEK 2 MI SE OF UNION CITY
Under Construction · Bridges · Cities: Not City · Funding: NEPA · This project will replace the existing 30-foot-long bridge built in 1961 over Broadanax Creek. The proposed 72-foot-long bridge will consist of one 12-foot lane in each direction with 2-foot gutters, and 6.5-foot sidewalks. The roadway approaches will consist of one 12-foot lane in each direction and a 10-foot urban border area with curb and gutter and 5-foot sidewalks. The proposed project length is 1050 feet (0.20 miles). The project is located approximately 2 miles southeast of Union City and begins approximately 585 feet south of the existing bridge and ends approximately 434 feet north of the existing bridge. Traffic will be maintained on an off-site detour utilizing Fayetteville Road and Oakley Industrial Boulevard.
