Road project 0016089: SR 211 FROM CS 1274/PINOT NOIR DRIVE TO SR 347
Under Construction · Widening · Cities: Braselton, Not City · Funding: GEPA · Located entirely within the Town of Braselton, the proposed widening of SR 211 from Pinot Noir Dr to SR 347 spans Barrow, Gwinnett and Hall Counties. The proposed urban roadway section would be four 12-foot lanes divided by a raised 28-foot median with a 10-foot shared use trail on the east side. A 10-foot shared use path would be provided on the west side of the road from Thompson Mill Road to SR 347. A new four lane bridge with an 8-foot raised median would replace the existing bridge (structure ID 013-0012-0). The proposed bridge would be approximately 235 feet long and 85 feet wide and would span Duncan Creek. The length of the project on SR 211 is approximately 1.57 miles. The Liberty Church Road intersection would be reconstructed to tie into the new SR 211 widening.
