Road project 0017735: SR 283 @ FLAT CREEK
Construction Work Program · Bridges · Cities: Not City · Funding: NEPA · The project would consist of the replacement of the four culverts carrying State Route (SR) 283/Holly Springs Road over Flat Creek in Hall County, Georgia. The existing culverts at Flat Creek were constructed in 1960. The structure is comprised of four 36-foot long, 6-foot diameter corrugated metal pipe culverts. The existing roadway consists of two lanes that vary from 10.5 feet to 11 feet with paved shoulders that vary from 2 feet to 3 feet. The proposed typical section would be designed to consist of two 11-foot travel lanes, one in each direction, with 10-foot shoulders (including 4-foot paved). The proposed bridge would be constructed on the existing alignment. An off-site detour is proposed.
