Road project 0018305: SR 3/US 19 FROM I-75 SB RAMP TO S OF CS 137/HOLMES STREET
Construction Work Program · Roadway Project · Cities: Atlanta · Funding: NEPA · The proposed project implements a roadway enhancement on the I-75 overpass to diminish the existing roadway section to a single northbound lane, two southbound lanes and an additional northbound receiving lane north of the intersection for westbound right turns from I-75 northbound. The existing roadway sections south and north of the I-75 overpass along SR 3/Northside Drive from Holmes Street to the I-75 northbound on/off ramp will be maintained. The project includes two concrete median and one flush median, both measuring 11 ft. in width. The project proposes sidewalks be widened to a width of 8 ft. to accommodate high pedestrian traffic in the area and the construction of new retaining walls on the west side of the roadway. The widening provides access across from the I-75 SB off ramp for existing businesses on the east side of Northside Drive. The project will tie back into existing
