Road project 110400-: I-985 SPLIT DIAMOND INTERCHANGE @ SR 13 & SR 53 & CD SYSTEM
Under Construction · Interchange · Routes: 0419 · Funding: NEPA · The proposed project will reconstruct the existing interchange at I-985 and State Route 53 and construct a new interchange at I-985 where State Route 13 currently bridges over I-985 north of the State Route 53 interchange. The two interchanges will be linked by braided ramps on the northside of I-985 collector-distributor ramp on the southside. This will require replacement of mainline bridges on I-985 at State Route 53, replacement of the State Route 13 bridge over I-985, and construction of a new bridge for the braided ramps on the northbound side between State Route 53 and State Route 13.
