What PermitReporter is

PermitReporter is an independent Georgia public-record reporting service. It collects and organizes records from cited government and other public sources. It is not a government agency, official record system, permit-filing portal, ownership database, or background-check service.

Public-record information

Pages may display public record titles, descriptions, addresses, dates, stated values, project classifications, publishers, source links, and collection timestamps. Public records can contain errors, change at the source, or arrive late. The linked official source remains the place to verify consequential details.

PermitReporter's public agent interfaces intentionally omit raw source payloads, party arrays, alert email addresses, confirmation and unsubscribe tokens, and internal enrichment state. A public address or business name may still appear when it is part of the public permit record.

Email watches

When you create a watch, PermitReporter stores the email address, search query, optional county, creation time, confirmation state, and a private token used to confirm or delete the watch. An AI-created watch also stores a UUID, a one-way request fingerprint, and a non-identifying rate-limit bucket so an unchanged retry does not create a duplicate.

A watch remains inactive until the address uses the emailed confirmation link. Delivered watch emails include a private unsubscribe link; using it deletes the watch and its alert history. Do not share confirmation or unsubscribe links.

AI assistants and agents

You may ask a compatible AI assistant to search public PermitReporter data or create a watch. The assistant provider may process your conversation under its own privacy policy before data reaches PermitReporter. Share only what is needed. An agent may transmit an email watch only after you review the exact email, query and county, authorize the submission and confirmation email, and accept this policy and the Terms of Use.

Technical and security data

The web host, Cloudflare Tunnel, and application infrastructure may process ordinary request information such as IP address, time, URL, user agent, status, and security signals to deliver and protect the service. PermitReporter does not intentionally write agent request bodies, watch email addresses, or confirmation tokens to application logs. A keyed one-way network identifier is used to rate-limit new agent-created watches.

Use, disclosure, and retention

Watch data is used to confirm, match, deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and delete the requested alert. Infrastructure providers process data as needed to operate the service. PermitReporter does not publish watch emails or tokens through its public interfaces. Records may be retained while a watch is active and for a limited period needed for security, recovery, legal compliance, or resolving delivery issues.

Your choices

Do not create a watch if you do not want PermitReporter to store the email and query. Ignore an unrequested confirmation message and the watch remains inactive. Use the private unsubscribe link in a delivered alert to delete the watch. To correct an underlying government record, contact the agency or publisher linked on that record; PermitReporter cannot change an official source.
