The intersection is approximately 7 miles south of Dawsonville, Georgia, and approximately 10 miles north of Cumming, Georgia. The proposed project would replace the existing signal, which was installed as an interim measure, with a roundabout configuration. South of the roundabout, the intersection of Bannister Road and Silversmith Drive will be reconfigured to prevent potential conflicts with the roundabout.
