Road project 0021092: I-75 & I-85 @ 4 LOCS - RAMP METER IMPROVEMENTS
Construction Work Program · ITS · Cities: Kennesaw, Not City, South Fulton, Union City · Funding: GEPA · The project proposes increasing capacity to improve queuing caused by the ramp meter, as well as upgrading the current ramp meter technology, at each of the four existing on-ramps. The proposed ramp meter installation consists of installing new strain poles with mast arms, new signal heads, cabinets, conduit, pullboxes, and CCTV cameras for observation. Additionally, there will be restriping at all locations. All work will be done within the existing ROW.
